Zero Damage To Equipment

Since Jadestone Energy commenced operations as a company in June 2016, we have maintained a steadfast on focus on operational excellence, accountability in safety, and continuous improvement.

Our Commitment

Jadestone Energy is committed to preventing all health, safety and environmental incidents and complying with all regulatory requirements. Incidents of this nature are preventable and in a way that does not harm the environment.

Jadestone Energy’s policy rests on four principles: no incidents, no injury to personnel, no damage to the environment, no damage to equipment.

Our Heath, Safety and Environmental Policy

Jadestone Energy is bound by a Heath, Safety and Environmental Policy (“HSE Policy”) that applies to all Employees and Contractors. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the implementation of the HSE Policy and will make the necessary resources available to meet our Corporate Responsibilities. The responsibility for our performance against this policy rests with our employees throughout the company.

In order to achieve our HSE Policy, Jadestone Energy shall:

  • Maintain a healthy, safe and environmentally friendly workplace;
  • Use its operational experience to improve health, safety and environmental performance;
  • Actively assess all operational and business risks to ensure that steps are taken that reduce risks to a level that is as low as reasonably practical;
  • Require all contractors to have a management system that either equals or exceeds Jadestone Energy’s;
  • Maintain standards and audit operations for compliance with high standards and work place practice in a formal structured manner;
  • Put health, safety and environmental considerations into every operational decision;
  • Continually review industry and government codes, guidelines, rules and regulations;
  • Minimise discharges, emissions and waste and their environmental effects;
  • Take all necessary actions to prevent incidents and have response procedures in place for any incident that may occur;
  • Set performance targets to achieve our aims and communicate to all relevant bodies;
  • Openly monitor, evaluate and report HSE performance; and
  • Make this policy available to all relevant bodies.

All Jadestone Energy Employees and Contractors are expected to:

  • Be proactive in the identification of, and acting upon, potential risks;
  • Where HSE concerns are an issue, undertake a safe and controlled shutting down of operations of concern;
  • Respect and cooperate with all safeguards to the health, safety and security of themselves and others;
  • Take all necessary precautions to protect themselves, their colleagues and the environment;
  • Immediately act upon and report any HSE concerns they may have; and
  • Provide and feedback on HSE processes and systems.
