Community Empowerment

  • A key pillar of Jadestone Energy’s community empowerment is its training programme for motorcycle mechanics.
  • Since its beginning in 2010, the programme has grown to five workshops across different locations in Indonesia.
  • Members can exchange knowledge and spare parts, but most importantly, a sense of common cause and camaraderie.
  • In addition to the training programme, the SMEs Motorcycle Workshop has been created and has grown from its original one to three groups.

Community Reading (Ogan Komering)

  • Jadestone Energy donated over their “Smart House” or “Rumah Pintar” to the community in Makartitama Village.
  • In addition, Makartitama Village received support towards several initiatives including fish farming, horticulture cultivation, and rubber nurseries, and help toward building mosques.
  • It is the hope of Jadestone Energy that the community will in time develop further businesses of their own.
  • At the “Rumah Pintar”, children in the village can gather to learn, read and eat, while adults can benefit from the agribusiness books kept there.

Blood Donation

  • Jadestone Energy continues to carry out and participate in several blood donation events, supported by the Blood Transfusion Unit at the Red Cross.
