Said has over 21 years’ experience as an IT practitioner with the last 12 years focused in the oil and gas industry. Said has a strong background in IT operations and service delivery having implemented several IT enterprise and infrastructure solutions across Asia Pacific, Europe and Africa. Prior to Jadestone, Said worked for McDermott Inc. leading the regional IT operation for Asia Pacific.

Phil joined Jadestone in August 2021. Prior to that he was Head of Investor Relations at Hurricane Energy, GasLog Ltd. and Genel Energy, and has achieved top rankings as an IR professional in the Institutional Investor All-Europe Executive Team (Oil & Gas Exploration and Production) 2015, 2017 and 2018 surveys. Prior to moving into Investor Relations, Phil was a sell-side European E&P analyst at Deutsche Bank and RBS (formerly ABN AMRO) in teams that were regularly top ranked by Institutional Investor and Excel. He has a PhD in Statistics from the University of Warwick, a BSc. 1st Class in Mathematics from the University of Cardiff and has also completed the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.

Derren is a chartered accountant with 21 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry largely in Asia Pacific with assignments in Malaysia, Lao PDR, Thailand and most recently Indonesia where he was the Finance Manager for Talisman Energy. Derren has strong experience in financial management, M&A, Financial Planning and Analysis and Project Management.

Paulina is an environmental engineer with over 16 years of experience in corporate sustainability, specializing in energy & carbon management. Prior to joining Jadestone in March 2022, she has worked with organisations across Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia, supporting sectors ranging from consumer goods and automotive to construction, telecommunications, and energy.

At Jadestone, Paulina leads efforts to ensure that material ESG risks and opportunities are clearly understood and effectively managed across the asset portfolio.

Craig has over 20 years of operator and technical experience with a strong background in Wells, Reservoir and Production Management. He has worked in both the UK and Malaysia during his career and brings his experience from the North Sea and South East Asia to Jadestone. Prior to Jadestone, Craig worked for Talisman Energy, most recently as Production Engineering and Well Integrity manager.

Brian is a geophysicist with over 23 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. His career includes technical roles as both an exploration and development geophysicist in North America and South-East Asia. Brian spent the last 10 years with Talisman Energy most recently in South East Asia based in Malaysia. Brian has a proven track record in technical geophysical interpretation for reservoir characterisation and optimisation of field developments.
